1. LinkedIn Ranking Change - Search Engine Journal

Key Takeaway: Users can block content categories and have the option to select "I don't want to see this" which will remove the author from that user's feed. De-ranking of polls from people you don't know and "non-relevant" polls. Don't run polls, and watch engagement on personal or off-topic posts to avoid being taken out of users' feeds.

2. Do People Want Hybrid Work? 2022 Annual Report - Microsoft

Key Takeaway: 58% of remote employees of 31,000 total surveyed said they are looking to go to Hybrid. Only 28% of managers said they have made a Hybrid schedule. Get prepared for some of your team to want office time and make a schedule.

3. Some Sitemap Extensions are going away - Google

Key Takeaway: Image and Video sitemap extensions are going away. This you have some time to decide what to do, August 6th, 2022 is the last day the extensions are live. Each situation is different, shoot me a DM if you still use these I would love to chat!

4. 60 Saas product pages - Jason Oakley

Key Takeaway: Follow Jason Oakley, seriously this might be one of the best collections of examples of Saas product pages, not just mock-ups. I immediately sent this to our product marketing manager the second I saw it (shout out to Ryan Walsh).

5. Apple Blocks Email Tracking - Wired

Key Takeaway: This isn't new news as Apple did this back in September however this article mentions something key. The image caching and Apple Mail client. Great perspective from the users' point of view. Important points on images loading first, something to think about if a large swath of your base uses Apple Mail.
