Tizen is an operating system based on the Linux kernel and the GNU C Library implementing the Linux API. With different profiles, Tizen is getting adopted in wide spectrum of IoT devices--sensors to smartphones to wearables to TV. As Tizen smartphones' (Samsung's Z1, Z2, Z3) processing power grows and game/animation libraries are incorporated, many individuals and startups have delved into developing games. Unity Technologies' cross-platform game engine has been facilitating the game development further. Recently, Tizen Unity Challenge got concluded with three award winners announced (see attached details) and an overall prize money of $1,85,000.
