According to Gallup, engagement drops by 37% amongst those who worry about their current and future job security.
Nearly half (49%) of employees interviewed for recent research were concerned about job security. And it isn’t just low earners who are feeling insecure – 66% of executives were worried about job security too.

At Tivian, we believe our responsibilities extend beyond the business world and into the communities we live in.
That’s why on Friday, August 4th, we launched our first company-wide Social Day, offering our employees a voluntary opportunity to give back to local causes that are important to them.
And from Cologne, Germany, to Redwood City, California, our people delivered!
Altogether, our workforce participated in 64 hours of volunteer work in 4 locations around the world. We cleaned up garbage in city parks, pulled up weeds in community gardens, walked dogs in local animal shelters, and packed 700 bags of food for those in need. As a hybrid workforce with many remote employees, it was beautiful to see so many of our team members sharing in the experience of social engagement, no matter their location.
Giving back uplifts not only our communities but our sense of belonging and purpose as well.
We’re so proud of our employees who took part in Tivian’s first Social Day, and we’re looking forward to creating more opportunities to continue giving back!
