Title: Wins and Challenges: What This Week Taught Me

Last week has been full of lessons. Yes! Some came from challenges I had to overcome, and others came from small wins that reminded me why I’m passionate about what I do.

A Challenge I Faced

One of the toughest moments this week was doing one of the things I dislike most as a manager, which is giving Query to subordinates but at this time, it's important i do this as it is now obvious that they have taken the chance i gave for granted and these acts are detriments that will surely affect meeting my target.?

I am one that believes in working closely with my team and holding them by their hands while we do things together and learn for each other but this one was really one that needs to be put in the right place to avoid repeating itself in the future thereby affecting set targets.

At first, it felt overwhelming, but I reminded myself to focus on one step at a time. By breaking it down and staying calm, I found a solution that worked and learned the importance of patience and flexibility.

A Win I’m Celebrating

On the brighter side, I had a big win when I did what was necessary and it paid off. Markets were visited which was far overdue and things that were pulling the team as a whole back were corrected . These were small issues here and there that shouldn’t be a setback at all but due to what happened, we were able to correct some and put the team in the right path at least for now. Moments like these make all the effort worth it, and they motivate me to keep improving.
