Titan Airways Airbus Fleet is expanding in 2020

London Stansted based charter airline and ACMI lease specialists Titan Airways will be operating a mixed fleet of Airbus aircraft with new arrivals joining the fleet in 2020.

Already operating a single Airbus A318, two Airbus A320s and three Airbus A321s the fleet will be increasing in size quite dramatically over the coming months. An additional Airbus A321 will be joining the fleet by early March followed directly by our first Airbus wide body, an Airbus A330. As we move into Q3 2020 we will see two Airbus A321P2F freighters join the fleet, fresh from conversion which will be available for short, medium or long term lease and integrator / cargo requirements.

These will be followed closely by two brand new Airbus A321neoLRs. This will take our Airbus fleet up to 12 aircraft by the end of 2020 and is part of Titan Airways ongoing initiative to operate more modern, quieter and fuel efficient aircraft for the future.

Titan Airways Airbus A321neoLR

Titan Airways will be introducing two Airbus A321neoLR’s. The brand new aircraft are scheduled for delivery in late summer and will enter revenue service in the autumn following custom outfitting by Airbus Corporate Jets to enable the carrier to offer the aircraft in multiple cabin configurations with maximum passenger comfort.

With 3 ACTs installed the aircraft has a range of 4,000nm. The A321LR’s represent the future of narrow-bodied long-haul flying for Titan Airways and will ultimately replace the carrier’s Boeing 757-200’s.

Powered by CFM Leap engines and incorporating Airbus ’“Sharklets” the quieter, more economical A321neoLRs will burn approximately 25% less fuel than the Boeing 757 helping the carrier to reduce CO2 emissions from it’s operations.

Titan Airways have opted for two different cabin configurations, a single-class layout with 195 standard seats and a two-class layout, with 16 premium seats at the front of the cabin and 168 standard seats at the rear. The carrier has chosen Acro’s Series 6 economy and Series 7 Premium seats. The ergonomic design of Acro’s seats maximises comfort and personal space for long-haul operations.

Both aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art hi-speed WiFi and Airbus‘ OSP in-flight entertainment (IFE) system.
