It's been a long-standing tradition within our business and our family to give a hand up, especially during the holidays when people feel the stress the most.

At JAPA Machinery, we really believe in giving back and as proud members of the Acheson Business Association we always look forward every year for the "Make A Difference" Christmas Campaign where you have several ways to make an impact through your business:

• raise/donate money,
• bring in non-perishable foods
• bringing clothing
• bring in unwrapped toys for children in need,

Throughout the early part of December, we'll be collecting toys, food, money, etc for the Kinsmen Club in Parkland County.

Are You Up For The Challenge?

We want to challenge the other businesses in Acheson to get out there, get fundraising, and make some donations of toys and give back. All across Edmonton, we'd like to see as many businesses that can, donate to the community that's given us so much and give back to people in need.

Difficult Time For Some

Christmas is coming up and for some people in the Parkland County community, it's a tough, tough time of year. One thing we know about Albertan's is that they help those in need. Because of the economic climate of the past few years, it's no secret that more people are reaching out for help this time of year.

Make A Difference - A Little Goes A Long Way

If you have the ability to get out and do a toy drive, help out the Parkland County, Kinsmen Toy Drive, or with something in the city, get out there and do it. It's a good time of year to do it, and it gives you that feeling that you're giving back to your community in whatever means possible.

The reality is, some may not have a chance at a meal or their kids might not have a chance at a toy this holiday season. A little something under the tree or that meal on the table makes a big difference.

And we'll have boxes out for collecting toys, non-perishable foods, and money for the Make A Difference Campaign, and for Parkland County.
