Tis the Season to be Jolly

Madeira Island has turned on it's lights and the Festive Season has started on this beautiful Island, the streets have lit up and all everyone has gone out into the streets to see the what this year has brung to our streets.

And the result is a little fairy land, sat in the middle of the Atlantic! If Madeira is already a dramatic Island by nature, now when you look around this wonderful place you will see the whole island lit up with the magical colours of Xmas, downtown in Funchal we already have stools where you can eat your Honey cake with a glass of Madeira Wine or if you are feeling a little more adventurous a highly alcholic Poncha could be the one for you. Father Christmas and his elves are also donwtown with lots of entertainment local folk dancing, and many many more activities.
