Tired of resolutions? Don't face them alone!

I remember times when speaking about resolutions meant the monitor's resolution but, now, being in a beginning of a new year, "resolution" seems like the most used word and it means something new. They are your GOALS for the new year!

When researching about the effectiveness of having these resolutions, I found many sceptical opinions giving numerous reasons regarding why they don't work. One of the reasons was that we tend to make these resolutions alone which leads to forgetting them without having someone helping us not forget, or helping us reach our goals.

Being on the beginning of this year, I invite you to make a business resolution but rather than making it for this year, let's have this resolution forever!

This resolution can be taken for different reasons:

  • More visibility and brand recognition
  • More leads
  • More sales
  • More satisfied customers
  • Enhanced support mechanisms
  • ...

More importantly, when taking such a resolution, we don't have to be alone. In this beginning of a new year, it might be just the right time to ask experts and get a reliable advice about the Internet because there is no one recipe for all businesses ;-)

Simple and right to the point, good article. I am not a believer in resolutions. This reminds me of three examples: Star Wars LUKE: (focusing, quietly) All right, I'll give it a try. That is, Yoda is encouraging Luke to commit fully. If he is still convinced that there is a difference, then he will fail. He must be certain that he can achieve it, or he will not be able to. MASTER YODA said, 'Do or do not, there is no try.' The Karate Kid "Either you karate do "yes" or karate do "no." You karate do "guess so," (get squished) just like grape." - Mr. Miyagi. OSHO Someone asked Osho: " if one were to make only one new year's resolution, what would you suggest?" Osho said: " This and only this can be the new year's resolution: I resolve never to make any resolutions because all resolutions are restrictions for the future. All resolutions are imprisonments. You decide today for tomorrow? You have destroyed tomorrow. Allow the tomorrow to have its own being. Let it come in its own way! Let it bring its own gifts. "Resolution means you will allow only this and you will not allow that. Resolution means you would like the sun to rise in the west and not in the east. If it rises in the east, you will not open your windows; you will keep your windows open to the west. What is resolution? Resolution is struggle. Resolution is ego. Resolution is saying, "I cannot live spontaneously." And if you cannot live spontaneously, you don't live at all -- you only pretend. *"So let only one resolution be there: I will never make any resolutions. Drop all resolutions! Let life be a natural spontaneity. The only golden rule is that there are no golden rules.
