#TipTrickTool no.90
Some context
Huge brake since the last TTT but hey...I was quite busy and then quite lazy and then...I just wanted to read stuff more than I wanted to write stuff. There you go. Truth. ??
It's also true that I like to write these things especially when I believe I've found stuff that can actually be useful or informative to others.
Also...when I repeat these things I tend to remember them for longer or apply them better and sooner.
So I'll try to get back at it, with the same model and a change to how often I publish them. I'll start with 1per week. Think that is a good number that will comfort procrastination, work, and family. Oh and there's also play, but play is play. It is not work or procrastination... it can be family... maybe. Glad I super-cleared that out. ??
Some intro
So I'm a UX dude with a core in design (graphic) so the stuff I share here is going to be mostly related to that and technology. #TipTrickTool is a personal project I started for myself. It is a good exercise for me as I said above and of course, it is also meant to help others. Would love to start conversations and get feedback or other opinions, practices, or whatever.
Other than that, if you managed to read down to here... well here goes.
Had a discussion recently with another #UX dude about #personas and we both realized that personas can also get old. And of course, it makes sense. Especially when we talk about personas based on young people. They grow and evolve and they change their reference points and likes and dislikes, behaviors, and whatnot. well, DOH! But, no.

I'm not really talking about age here. I'm not talking about personas developed to define the #consumer/ #customer/ #targetaudience. I'm referring to the #userpersonas, the one that defines how users #interact with your product/website. Those can be affected by #technology and trends. For example, if you had a reference for Instagram when it came to developing navigation for your website a few years ago, you might want to rethink taking #TikTok into consideration. Tech and #trends can change a lot in user behavior and it can only benefit you if you can fit some of that into your product/website. Small details can go a long way when it comes to UX.
So yes, I think #personas should be open documents that need some attention from time to time, just to check you're still up to date.
I've been playing a lot with #AIs like #DallE2 and #StableDiffusion and the first big problem I had was a lack of inspiration for keywords or prompts. Since my first prompt, I greatly improved but it was a waste of credits till I got here.
One trick I have for all of you that want to get better results from your #keywords or #prompts is to:
This will hugely improve your results. Or maybe you're just good at this stuff and you know your s#!% and you're just better than me. That works too. ??
