Tips You Should Know For Nitrogen-hydrogen Mixer

Nitrogen-hydrogen mixer, is a device used to produce a protective gas mixture that is widely used in the heat treatment and cold rolling galvanizing industries. This gas mixture requires precise mixing ratios, typically within the range of 3% to 40% hydrogen concentration. To ensure the accuracy of the gas mixture ratio, a nitrogen-hydrogen mixer is used.

A nitrogen-hydrogen mixer typically consists of nitrogen inlet, hydrogen inlet, mixing chamber, and outlet. Nitrogen and hydrogen enter the mixing chamber through their respective inlets, where they are mixed according to the desired ratio and then delivered to the application through the outlet.

When selecting a nitrogen-hydrogen mixer, several parameters need to be considered, including nitrogen inlet pressure, flow rate, and purity, hydrogen inlet pressure, flow rate, and purity, and the range of gas mixture ratios, outlet pressure, and flow rate.

Safety is also a major concern when using hydrogen. Therefore, nitrogen-hydrogen mixers are designed with explosion-proof features. The mixer can be manually or automatically controlled to adjust the nitrogen and hydrogen flow rates and thus the nitrogen-hydrogen mixture ratio. Some nitrogen-hydrogen mixers are also equipped with sensors to monitor the gas mixture ratio and provide feedback to the control system for automatic adjustment.
