Having a?#growthmindset ?is key. Looking to impress, and shining in front of peers and senior leadership (aka the Glow) is something that will come organically.?#helpotherssucceed ?#givecredit ?#growyourself ?and the world will be your oyster. #2 LOL - Business is often no laughing matter, especially in these challenging times. The old saying “laughter is the best medicine” has never been more relevant. With the pandemic, desires to WFH, inflation, and the pressure to deliver,?#employeewellbeing ,?#burnout , and thoughts about?#quietquitting ?are at a high. Personally I love that our team takes time to laugh, have fun, play a virtual team game every week, as well as kickoff each meeting with one “happy thing” that happened to them. I’m no Jerry Seinfeld, but work and life is a combined “show about something”. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my colleagues laugh, succeed, and have?#worklifeharmonization ?at the same time. #3 Mentor and be mentored - I’ve been fortune enough to have informally mentored many bright, hardworking and coachable professionals, who have continued on to become CMOs, CPOs and even a few CEOs in their own right. No matter what your level, your aspirations or goals, getting mentored and being a mentor is always a symbiotic relationship. I have learned just as much from those who have had confidence in me to seek my advice.?#thankyou . "You're not a high performer unless you make other people better" - Adam Grant.
