Tips On Ways To Support Your Loved One’s Medical Care

1. Get a small notebook and divide it into three sections.
2. Have area for keeping up with the MDs involved and their contact information as well as any other professionals involved in the care.
3. Have an area of the notebook designated for questions and answers from the MD or medical professionals.
4. Have an area for journal entries. “Notes to self” or putting your feelings out on paper could be very helpful.
5. Prepare a "Personal Coping Kit", add magazines, book, healthy snacks, especially protein items, toothbrush, small pillow, phone charger, etc..
All of this will depend on the anticipated time frame that the items will be needed.
Be like the Boy Scouts, and Be Prepared. It does help!
