Tips for using conveyor belt repair strips

Conveyor belts are widely used in industrial production, mainly for transporting materials. During long-term use, due to the influence of the environment or materials, conveyor belts may be damaged and need to be repaired to reduce economic losses.

1. Tool preparation

Grinding machine, tungsten steel grinding disc, compaction roller, cold adhesive, repair strip, cleaning agent

2.Implementation process

Surface treatment: mark the scratched part, and use an angle grinder with a tungsten steel grinding disc to grind it, and then clean it.

Apply glue: Use a short and hard brush to evenly apply glue twice in one direction on the damaged part of the fully dried conveyor belt. The glue layer should not be too thick. The first time should be completely dry, and the second time should be until it does not stick to the finger; the semi-vulcanized layer of Top surface repair strip does not need to be polished, just apply glue.

3. Bonding and compaction: Paste the conveyor belt repair strip from one end and use a pressure roller to compact it. During the compaction process, it should be compacted from the middle to both sides to facilitate the discharge of air. Wait for the curing to be completed before use.
