Tips and tricks for solo backpackers.
While creating an #Itinerary for a solo backpacking adventure or a budget travel could be a big brain storming session for several days. But don't worry, if travelling first time as a solo backpacker and want to make sure everything falls in place the way you are thinking of, sit back relax, read this article till the very end.
*First thing first : Choosing the location for a #solo #backpacking adventure is the crucial of all times. Make a wise decision while choosing locations, cover as much as ground as possible, and make sure you have location services on to your cellular device(Don't forget to allow permission to your camera, so that you have the location handy). Also make sure of placing an emergency contact on your phone.
*Plan it in advance : As travelling to a new city altogether is kind of an adventure, make sure you have enough time to research on the location, as it can add a cherry on the cake most of the times. Make sure of booking are done according to the climatic conditions at the location. Also the travel bookings should be made taking the overall weather conditions into consideration. (This, I am saying from my personal experience).
*Modes of transport : Choose them very wisely,(#Research) because mode of transport will make sure of your energy levels the other day. In my opinion where-ever one finds connectivity by rail should book railway tickets. Also some locations are needed to be traveled in daylight, don't just miss on them. As the routes some places(in fact very place) have in India, they will add all the energy to you while travelling, don't miss on them, I #repeat.
*Stay : As a solo backpacker don't really spend much on the stay. As we are on our toes the whole day roaming around the city, spending much on the stay is a liability. Just make sure of booking a decent room with basic amenities. In fact you are travelling by #indianrailways do try the retiring rooms on the railway stations, they are superb and pocket friendly.
* Local transport : As I said, plan it way in advance, eat sleep research repeat before going on the trip, the only reason behind this is once you are in that city you don't have to #hustle or struggle a lot on the local transport, I completely agree not everything is available on google, but make the optimum use of it at the same time.
