Interview scheduling etiquette
- Do regular morning and before interview follow up to avoid interview no show’s
- Do check the interest level of candidate before starting the application process
- Only schedule the interviews when candidate is interested in Job and Company
- Avoid scheduling an interview early in the morning.
- Try to schedule interviews away from lunchtime.
- Avoid scheduling interviews just before and after holidays and weekends.
- Give minimum 24 hours’ time notice to Panel
- Prepare candidate for interview – Explain candidate on flow of interview, company, how many rounds what to expect from each round skills and others
- ONLY schedule one interview/day with panel, if urgent then 2 /day not more than that
- Make sure you become advocate to the candidate and panel and co-ordinate well through interviews?
