Brick by brick. There used to be a saying that was used about building things brick by brick. I mean I know there is a lot of brick still used in Ontario, but I am from BC so it’s not very common here for the “west coast” vibe.
Regardless of how many bricks are laid on your project, the back end of your business is still brick by brick, or should I say App by App. I mean really, it’s overwhelming at how software overload and automatic subscriptions are a thing!
But this week, we are talking about the brick by brick building of a solid business foundation.
Let’s take for example your walk through inspections. They are the same tasks every time plus or minus an attic, maybe a basement or a laundry room. Or maybe your due diligence phase on a new multifamily property. Each time you do this it’s a bit easier, but your growing checklist is pretty similar.
Working through your business in a strategic way seems like a lot of work to start with, but as soon as you get into the habit of changing your steps the process gets easier.
