Before checking in details what options are available to you during INBOUND 24 (sessions, stages, networking events, app connections...), let's prioritize what is important for YOU! So what's important for you?

  • Clearly define your objectives for attending the event. Are you looking to network, learn about industry trends, promote your business, or all of the above? Knowing your goals will help you tailor your approach.
  • Once you know what you are looking for, you can review the event agenda and identify sessions and people that align with your objectives. Plan your schedule accordingly to make the most of your time (cf 3. Get the big picture to help you plan it).
  • Don't forget to create buzz and encourage interactions using social media, email newsletters, and other communication channels.
  • In the meantime, I would highly encourage to develop a strategy for networking. Research key speakers, attendees, and exhibitors you want to connect with. Reach out in advance to schedule meetings or simply introduce yourself. You can also follow the event's official social media channels and use event-specific hashtags to engage in online conversations. Share your insights and connect with other attendees pre/ during/ post event!

These are all great tips that I could have used my first year! For me, creating a schedule ahead of time with planned breaks for lunch and snacks is key. There are so many great sessions on the agenda that I want to fill every minute with learning. It takes discipline to stop and eat!
