Tips From LA LA Land!

Woo hoo, I was in LA last week.?Yes, The Impact Guru went to Hollywood (with a Halloween vibe).

I was there partly to hob nob with the movie moguls (my other half, Adam has a film?“Ozi, Voice of the Forest”?in production and had to see some important people).

Yup, I do help with “the elevator pitch”

I also met with a few clients between trips to Universal Studios with the teenagers and walks along Sunset Boulevard.

So, what to wear??My secret stylist and regular guest, Natasha Musson (you can see her in action below) always has brilliant advice.??“Go bright and bold”.

I needed a WOW outfit, so you may have spotted me last week secretly treating myself to Tess Daly’s Red Velvet suit from Reiss…LOL.

I was watching episode 4 of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and I saw it, googled it and bought it… within 2 minutes. I NEVER usually indulge myself like that, although I am known to impulse buy, only to send stuff straight back. (Don’t ask me about the over-sized feathered turquoise big bird-style jacket!)

Hmmm I'll need it shortened quite a lot as you can see. But hey, why not?

TIP - Do YOU!

When I get the right shoes and tart up my hair, I will have my own ‘look’.?Not quite as glam as the gorgeous Strictly Come Dancing presenter (I used to walk past Tess Daly and Bruce Forsyth in the corridor at BBC Television Centre when I worked in the Entertainment Department, she is rather statuesque. So was he!)

Hey, I’m dinky, and not quite as slender, and I’ve decided it doesn’t matter, I’m owning it, my way.
