Tips for Elevating Your Leadership Presence at Work

To get weekly insights of high performance leadership from Martin G. Moore, a successful CEO who's already walked the path hit the "subscribe" button here.

Over the last several months, many leaders have told us that their companies are hunkering down in a virtual promotion freeze.

We decided to poke around to see if there was any data to support these anecdotal observations, and came across an interesting statistic:

According to Bloomberg, of the 68 million white collar workers in the US, only 1.3% were promoted in the first quarter of 2024.

That's the lowest rate in five years!

At times like these, it's even tougher to stand out.Which is why we decided to run a free 3-day bootcamp, '10X Your Leadership Promotability', where I outline my three failproof strategies to deal with an ultra competitive labour market.

In this week's episode of the podcast, I wanted to share a replay of day one of the bootcamp, which covers the first strategy: Elevate Your Leadership Presence.

Apart from a couple of interesting stories from my own career, I cover why your leadership brand is so important, and I give you a really practical tool to help you to clarify and communicate that brand to the people around you.

I believe the first step is being open with your employer about your promotion goals. Collaboratively set a plan and KPIs to align efforts and achieve mutual success.

Increased productivity is an objective for many managers and businesses. I believe motivated people deliver productive outcomes .Team productivity can be improved by: 1--Creating a healthy work environment. 2--By improving meeting efficiency. 3--promote personal productivity. 4-- By encouraging team activities which is a great way to help your team to connect. 5-- Provide regular and fair feedback. 6-Set team goals. 7-- And last but not least by rewarding efforts. ????

Such an important topic in these times. I think it is truly relevant for people who work remotely, who's efforts are not always 'seen'.
