Change is hard. Change is useful. Change is critical. Change is a reality. But Change is also very SCARY ??

To keep changing and stay competitive the companies adopt a strategy called VALUE-BASED STRATEGY.

Companies that achieve sustainable long term financial success create value for their customers, their employees and their suppliers.

Harvard Business Review reports indicates that discipline and a strong mindset is required from companies to implement this value-based strategy:

? Creates Value for CUSTOMERS by raising their willingness to pay (WTP)

? Creates Value for EMPLOYEES by making work appealing so raising their willingness to sell (WTS)

? Creates Value for SUPPLIERS by reducing their operating cost

1. Invite on-site customer expertise to create an end-to-end customer
2. Create efficiencies like better shared demand forecast between the Customer and the Manufacturer
3. Improve online message and presence
4. Create vendor/suppliers showrooms to increase WTP
5. Invite on-site vendor/suppliers to foster efficiencies for both the suppliers and the organisation, drive innovation and create
6. Create better DEI policies to have better trained employees
7. Create high employees engagement by offering for example an entire suite of health-improving services, access to fitness clubs, incentives t buy healthy foods
8. TECHNOLOGY & PRODUCT INNOVATION?requires organizations to transform the core beliefs, structure and strategy?
9. Focus on?NEW CAPABILITIES & SKILLS?

In my two decades of working in the corporate I led procurement transformation projects for global brands like Heineken and Kit-Kat, so I can state that the biggest challenge is MINDSET and overcoming the fear for change from the teams. Having the right M|INDSET for driving and implementing good changes requires time and trust. So make sure you put in a lot of effort in a change management plan that involves good and regular communication to the team. Involve the team in driving the change and stay transparent with the pros and cons.
