Since March 2020 (the date of the declaration Covid19 pandemic by WHO) our lives have been changed dramatically. Sometimes we felt like we live in a half-dystopic world, the future is misty. It is 2022 and if you are reading this article now, congratulations, you are a survivor (for now)!
As our way of doing business has been also changing, we sales people need to think always one step ahead. Super-fast changes in technology, unstable markets, unprecedented customer behavior… closing a sales is now harder than ever!
I would like to share some tips which, I believe, are very useful for all sales professionals in 2022, to get better result in sales.
1-????AI is the new normal– Embrace use of extensive technology and the right tools are must-have. Find the suitable CX solution to support you daily. In the past, majority of sales professionals were lazy to enter their activities to a system as some thought systems are waste of time. Tables have turned and technology became the best friend of sales professionals. Thanks to AI powered systems, analyzing data becomes easier, faster and more accurate than ever. AI is also very useful for you to understand customer habits, follow the patterns and close more sales!
2-????Social Selling – Even social selling has been around for some years, it is getting more and more important. LinkedIn and other social channels are great ways to reach out your potential audience and to build relationships with them. Social channels are also good to grab others attention, understand your leads and customers behavior and follow them up daily. Learn how to use social channels effectively for your sales activities, make them part of your daily life. Don’t forget to avoid being a spam.
3-?????Provide Unique and Better Customer Experience – Sales processes become more complex than ever. You need to be fast, innovative, personable and up-to-date at all times. Customers are looking for more personalized experiences and 2022 will not be an exception. People are tend to do more business with you when you give them more personalized experiences; and don't forget to do that across all channels.

4-????Value Based Selling – Focus your customer needs amatively and adapt a consultative approach to your potential clients. Guide them, teach them and discover what value they are seeking. Show your communication skills and build better relationship. Don’t jump to the conclusion.
Competition is fierce in almost all markets around the world. Trends are hard to catch, innovation is in the heart of everything. Sales professionals needs to adapt changes than everyone else. Classic sales approaches are now death. Sales is not just sales anymore. It is consultancy, it is business development, and it is relationship management.
