If so, you may be intrigued to discover the existence of Sitecore File Explorer, a feature that enables users with admin access to view and upload files directly onto the server. While seasoned Sitecore developers may already be acquainted with this functionality, it remains relatively obscure for others, requiring specific knowledge for access.

To initiate the Sitecore File Explorer, follow these steps:

Navigate to the following URL path: [Your Sitecore]

[URL]/sitecore/shell/default.aspx?xmlcontrol=FileExplorer        

Upon reaching this URL, a window into the files residing within the root folder of your website is unveiled.

This interface allows users to explore existing files, download them for inspection, and even upload new files. Uploading such files triggers an app pool recycling process, resulting in the site restarting.
