TIP FOR RISK COMMUNICATION
The World Health Organization just released a Guideline for Emergency Risk Communication [ ERC ].
The purpose of this guideline is to help people in health care, public health, first response, and governance prepare for communicating risks before, during, and after public health emergencies such as influenza, epidemics, pandemics, disasters, and other emerging infectious and non-infectious threats.
Emergency management, healthcare communication staff, media professionals, public health professionals, and policy makers need to read this 78-page guideline in detail.
