Tip: Make sure all utilities are working when scheduling an Inspection.
Inspections are necessary for a buyer/seller to get through in order to obtain property confidently. Time is limited during the option period. We ask if the utilities are on so that important checks can be made. When we confirm this question we are ready to inspect. Important systems can not be checked and requests have to be made to extend the option period if one utility is off. Two things can be done in order to verify the utilities are on: 1. Turn on the lights, check, power is on. 2. Turn on the hot water, pressure and heat, check, if there is gas service it is working. If these two steps are confirmed before the inspection the process flows so much more smoothly.
