Video Tip: How To Convert Your Three Types of Buyers

Alight, I'm deep in the heart of Texas, stuck on a layover in Austin, after working with a dozen clients in Miami and while watching people get off different flights, it got me thinking about those of you who are trying to convince and convert prospects into customers. The reality is, there are 3 different types of buyers. 


Buyer #1: Prospects who realizes they have a problem that your product solves and it’s a priority. This group of buyers are your “low-hanging fruit”; the ones you’re probably already converting into customers. But your business shouldn't stop there because there are two other groups. 


The second group of buyers are prospects who have a problem that your product solves, but they either don’t realize it’s a problem, or it’s not a priority right now. Got it?


And then there's the third type of buyer, prospects who have a problem that your product solves, but they’re working with your competitor and believe they have the problem taken care of. Got it?


To refresh, Buyer #1 is your low hanging fruit, but the other two types of buyers pose a sales and marketing opportunity. 


If you believe you have a superior product that solves a specific problem, it's important you understand, the more challenging types of buyers may require a little more strategic convincing before they’ll pay attention to your sales pitch. And that's where creating demand gets amplified by really strategic videos.
