TIP Charity Bike Ride

Next week a TIP sponsored team of 50 including myself will attempt to cycle from Barcelona down to Valencia covering 400 kms in three days.

In our 50th year of business, we are trying to help the Donna Louise Trust build a much needed additional new wing for their facility. ‘Donna Louise’ is a privately funded hospice providing amazing personal care for terminally ill children and their families in the local community. The ‘nifty fifty’ team this year is comprised of an ‘eclectic’ mix of TIP employees, loyal customers and supportive industry partners.. However, it is fair to say that the distances this year are a bit of a stretch and the fact that Spain is the 2nd most mountainous country in Europe gives me no comfort whatsoever. Throw in the heat, the wind and the traffic and we’ve got a bit of a challenge on our hands!

Our target this year is to exceed ￡50,000 and the money raised will be handed directly to ‘Donna Louise’ as a contribution to their extension which has started but is not wholly funded.
