It's time to look forward and backward from where all points of the compass meet...right at your feet!
I went on retreat this weekend.? It is a luxury I don't often allow myself.? Time to retreat and reflect and sit in stillness and be held.
It was not only deeply rewarding it was revealing.
The theme was So Hum?
Sanskit for I Am That I Am
?
I Am Complete
I Am Enough
?
How do these statements land with you?
For me it took me down a road of really acknowledging what outmoded beliefs I am still lugging around with me. Stuff that when I said it out loud --I couldn't believe I still carry it.?
Getting to the root causes of those beliefs took a bit more uninterrupted listening!
I talk about telling your story, rewriting the story but what about being with your story. Listening to what it has to say to you?
?I had the opportunity to share some traditional stories around a fire while there.? I was reminded it's not about interpreting the story.
It's about stepping inside the story and letting it come through you.?
?
Where do you find yourself in the story??
What is it telling you?
