Hi everyone,
Our Creative Writing Competition winners were announced yesterday and what an amazing competition it was this year! We had over 200 entries and we were delighted to award bronze, silver and gold certificates to all those who entered. We have already received so many emails from parents and teachers, sharing news of their child "jumping up and down with excitement" and feeling "over the moon". Children's author Rachel Lawston judged the final round, and you can watch her reading the winning entries via our YouTube channel.
We stand firmly in agreement with the National Literacy Trust when they say writing can make children feel better. Having competitions like this, where every child is awarded, can be a huge confidence boost and hopefully helps to ignite an interest in writing for pleasure too.
A big thank you to all the schools who took part this year!

If you are a teacher and would like to try out one of our clubs for free, please send us an email or LinkedIn message. We are currently offering schools our Desert Island Discovery Club or our Amazing Amazon Adventure Club. Both clubs consist of 5 x 1 hour lessons, which can be delivered as an after-school club or perhaps during a Literacy Intervention Group.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Best wishes,
Charlotte and Dani
