Tip 12: Get Feedback (Early) (Write Your Book Series)

Before you get too far into your WIP (work-in-progress), ask someone you trust (who is also qualified) to provide feedback on your writing style as well as the content arc of your book.
Why? Because I've read many books that fall short because they:
A strategic book coach or publishing consultant (me), experienced editor, or another subject matter expert are three excellent options, depending upon your timeframe and budget, as well as what you want in return from the project (from a return-on-investment perspective).
I recommend asking for advice once you have the working title and subtitle, your initial outline for the book, and a couple of initial chapters. Getting feedback early on can prevent spending too much time running in the wrong direction, and provide confidence and reassurance when you are!
