Tiny sparks: how to take the plunge and love it

Welcome to the second week of our tiny spark emails: it’s all about the little thoughts that strike big ideas.?

Today we’re taking a dive into my recent lively Sparks by Ignium Podcast interview with cold water swimmer, coach and speaker Deniz Kayadelen.

First I want to ask you how you feel about being in your comfort zone. I know much is written about it but what does the term mean to you? What’s inside that space and what lies outside of it?

Is its safety and predictability stopping you from moving forward?

Perhaps another way of viewing this is thinking about the difference between what Deniz calls the fear zone and the joy zone.?

One prevents you from exploring the world and keeps you stuck where you are.

The other is a journey of new experiences. ‘It’s an opportunity to explore myself’ Deniz says. ‘When you’re in a new situation you don’t know how your body and mind will react and that’s exciting.’

You don’t have to take the plunge alone. Just as Deniz has a team beside her, support is also on hand for you too. The Growth Institute is offering a free 90-minute training session this month to get you off the starting blocks into the next stage of your life and business – drop me a note if you want to know more.

Have an amazing day.
