- It is so much easier to sell someone something people want to buy than to convince them to buy what you are selling. Find out what they want to buy first.
- If your customer doesn't’ know you or your company, it is obvious that a sale will take longer than if he does. If the buyer doesn't’ engage, it's obvious you’d better take the time to explain it if you expect different results.
- Knowing your product means understanding the image is projecting. The idea behind it, its purpose, and how it is perceived. How will it help the customer? What problem is it solving? What is its promise? Know your product, believe in it and sell it with enthusiasm.
- Many posts fail not because they are bad but because the timing is not correct. Improve your timing.
- Anticipate the reasons why people wouldn’t buy from you. State them clearly. Improve sales.
- It will help if you tell people why you believe in your product.
- Stress the top 10 facts about your product and deemphasizing others. Communicate them in a way that creates a desire by beginning with the perception and working backward.
- Go beyond the facts. Associate your product or service with positive, desirable values which have little or nothing to do with the product itself.
- If you have more than one item to sell, make sure you reserve enough time for the most important of them.
- Remind them of your glorious past. People want to do business with winners. It helps to make people aware of your big wings in the past.
