Tiny Art for All
I have been leading this cultural revolution for a year. Respectfully inviting people with disabilities to make and share art and experience cultural arts with my institutional partner, Peacehaven , has been amazing. Together, we are marking the first year of Arts for All with a Tiny Art collection, featured throughout the month of June at The Center for Visual Artists (CVA) in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Items in our Arts for All Tiny Art collection were created by people living at Peacehaven who identify as disabled and people who support them. Truly experiencing being different together.
The Art of Inclusion: Celebrating Greensboro’s Diverse Abilities opens on Friday, June 7th, from 6- 8. This Center for Visual Artists exhibition will be in the gallery from Friday, June 7- Saturday, June 22. The Center for Visual Artists is in the Cultural Arts building, 200 North Davie Street, Greensboro, NC. The gallery is on the 2nd floor to the right of the elevator. You can park in the Church Street parking deck (next to the library) for free the night of the event or after 5pm other days.
There is much more to celebrate with Peacehaven at CVA - details soon, but for now - yes to Tiny Art!
