Advanced mates, Full Edition.
In March and the beginning of April I started a series called “Advanced mates” containing 3 videos where I gave a small introduction the Advanced mates. For this newsletter, I have created the "Complete Edition" which contains all three videos.
This video is only available within this newsletter, so you are in for a treat

Oldie but Goldie
This section is for some of my older videos that deserves a rewatch
For the first newsletter, you get a link to the very first video i created
There is no good screenshot as this was done before intro and outro (much simpler times) I hope you enjoy it
3DEXPERIENCE Made Simple.
This is most likely my most ambitious project yet, because how do you make something like the 3DEXPERIENCE platform simple?
The short answer is “you can’t.
It is however possible to break down the concepts of the platform and explain them individually, which is what I am currently doing, and hopefully makes the platform more accessible.
I started of very ambitious and wanted to create one video pr week.
However I have had to realize that these videos takes a lot more time than my standard videos, which is why I have decided only to publish them bi-weekly.
For the first NewsletterI have three videos from that series
The first video is a short introduction to the platform
Next video shows you how to get started with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform
Next How to get started on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
And in the third one I go explore the concept of Roles of the platform

?Update news:
SOLIDWORKS
Version 2022 SP2 is now available for download here. With this version, FULL support is offered for windows 11, something many have been wanting. Of course there are many more updates in the new service pack, which you can see here
CUSTOMTOOLS
Version 2022 SP 1 arrived on April first (not an April fools prank), the version can be grabbed here, windows 11 is supported to my knowledge
Driveworks
Driveworks 20 SP0 became available on the 4th of April, so quickly grab it and see what is new (Windows 11 is fully supported),
3DEXPERIENCE
On the 23rd of April the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform was updated to version R2022x FD02. If you are using the platform you probably realized this by now as it is done automatic
SOLIDWORKS CHAMPION
This segment is dedicated some of my fellow SOLIDWORKS champions, who are doing something special for the community and spreads the word about all things SOLIDWORKS.
For the first newsletter i want to highlight Danute Petrova-Nikolova. ?
Her youtube channel is filled with many inspirational videos, not only on the use of SOLIDWORKS, but also many other things SOLIDWORKS: SWUG, Champions program, Certifications and many more topics. One of the reasons she caught my eye is her original use of SOLIDWORKS. I have to admit I have never seen anyone model flowers in SOLIDWORKS.
I will let her renderings and models speak for themselves
So a big thank you, to you Danute, you are doing a great job.
?YouTube
Many people have asked about my videos on YouTube, so they do not have to scroll through their LinkedIn feed.
At the moment over 70 of the videos are on PLM Groups YouTube channel, with their own playlist which you can find here.
That is all from me in this months newsletter, looking forward to next month
As always feedback is appreciated, you know where to find me
I help people and companies work better, faster and more efficiently, with less f**k-ups.
2 年Great stuff, Lennart, I'm looking forward to reading future newsletters.
