TINC Spring 2024: Wrapping Up!

TINC Spring 2024 has drawn to a close, and we're so proud of the journey and achievements of this cohort.

Over the past six weeks, these startups have engaged in an intensive curriculum featuring workshops, founder talks, mentor sessions, investor discussions, and practical exercises, all aimed at accelerating their businesses and honing their market fit. The program reached its peak with a week in Silicon Valley that included more workshops, a Demo Day where startups pitched to an investor panel, and a celebratory reception dinner with the Royal Norwegian Consulate.

We're fortunate to have incredibly talented individuals involved in TINC. Thank you, Nathan Gold #goldtouched, who continue to share his deep expertise in the art of storytelling and audience engagement. Nathan has been an integral mentor and coach in the TINC program since its inception.

The cohort also got fantastic insights from Rob Napoli , Chief Commercial Officer at Omniboost, who provided unique perspectives on brand development and the importance of founders developing both personal and professional brands.

Julie Hanna , Senior Advisor at X (Google X), Venture Partner at Obvious Ventures and Executive Board Chair at Kiva, facilitated one of her signature founder workshops, diving deep into the Silicon Valley ethos and how it can be blended with Nordic values to create a powerful mix of knowledge and collaborative spirit.

Dariusz Paczuski , CMO Rocket Works AI, led engaging workshops on Igniting Customer-Led Growth, while Scott Sambucci , Founder and CEO at SalesQualia, delivered an energizing workshop on Scaling Sales. We were also privileged to have Nir Eyal , Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author of "Hooked" and "Indistractable," share his expertise on Behavioral Design.

A special thanks goes to Arne Tonning ???? ???? , Partner at Alliance VC, for demystifying VC thinking and expectations, and to Shomit Ghose , Partner at Clearvision Ventures and professor at UC Berkeley/USF. Shomit, one of our beloved core mentors, led a workshop on Start to Exit and shared his insights on Data-Driven Business Models.

Special thanks to Olav Sindre Kriken , Co-founder and COO of Tana, who held a founder talk on building a successful community and being a Nordic founder in the US, and Homan Y. , investor and entrepreneur, who held an investor talk for the cohort.?

The companies also met with TINC Alum Mike Long , Founder and CEO at Kosli and their investor Heavybit , who shared experience from the journey with starting the company, raising funds and scaling the company from San Francisco,?

The investor panel on Demo Day offered invaluable feedback to the startups on their pitches. Our gratitude extends to Martina Lauchengco , Partner at Costanoa Ventures,? Shripriya Mahesh ,Founding Partner at Spero Ventures and Ryan Cunningham , Founding Partner of SHACK15 Ventures, for their constructive and valuable feedback.?
