Times Square's New Year's Eve Confetti Test

New York, New York, USA: As the global TV, internet and media world prepares to tune in to the Times Square New Year's Eve Ball 2025 Drop celebration, co-organizers of the event--The Times Square Alliance, One Times Square, Countdown Entertainment, joined by presenting sponsor Planet Fitness--released multicolored confetti as a test and practice run to make sure New Year's Eve night comes off without a hitch. The colorful event is held in preparation for the release of 3000 pounds of confetti at midnight on New Year's Eve. The 3000 pounds of confetti released on New Year's Eve will include thousands of wishes from individuals who have submitted them on actual confetti at the New Year's Eve Wishing Wall in Times Square and the via the Virtual Wishing Wall.
