Timeliness

There’s this thing called time…and although I’ve written that timing is everything—and it is—I’m still (forever and always;) learning how to balance that time thing.
Although my current wish (or one of them) is to be retired so that I can do all the things that excite and make me feel happy, I have a mortgage to pay off, so off working I go. (For those of you who don’t know me, I have a service business that I’ve had for at least 18 years, and currently, I have elderly/fall-risk clients, although I do lots of other services.)
So, I’m wondering: how does one juggle everything that makes us happy without worrying about the time crunch?
Such as making chicken soup (finishing it this morning after making it last night because I had forgotten the onion!) and sharing a couple of bowls with my next-door neighbor.
Such as saying hello to the neighbor across the street whose family had been gone for a week without telling any of us, so we were concerned.
Such as refilling the bird feeder with seed because they are hungry little wingettes and snarf down that seed until it is empty every other day.
Those birds do more than sing and appreciate my blessings; they have planted sunflowers all around my garden without my planting one!
Such as refilling the birds’ watering and drinking water so I can watch them splash around and be hydrated in this ridiculously burning Colorado sun.
Such as ensuring enough drinking water in the dogs’ bowl.

Such as watering the front porch flowers twice daily to be quenched and embellished with their glorious red colors!
Such as watering the back porch tomato plants and flowers in the pots.
And that doesn’t even begin to list the multitude of layers of things that I want to do for myself in the mornings, such as meditating, cooking up a scrumptious breakfast, eating that delicious, savory food and cleaning up afterward. Oh, and let’s not forget about coffee! I love my iced coffee and will even put in a plug for my coffeemaker by DeLonghi. (It grinds the whole beans for me, something I got bored with doing myself.)
So, off to another zoom! (What else is there?)
My Memoirdoula.net website will be up and running soon, so stay tuned.
My book Illuminating Touch: Awakening to Sensuality in Everyday Life will be launched very, very soon (this month). Watch for that, too.
Blessings on your continuing journey and trusting you will find the time to do everything on your sweet list.
