At this time of the year...

Two words always come to mind, Grateful and Thankful at Thanksgiving

Grateful: Appreciative of benefits received (Merriam-Webster)

Thankful: Conscious of benefit received (Merriam-Webster)

Now to go all “Spelling Bee” on you, I’ll use them in a sentence. I am grateful to my mom for buying Broadway show tickets for her granddaughter’s birthday. I am thankful that I am one of the family members going.

Now that we know the difference between these words, you see that this holiday season you can be both.

So, what are you grateful and thankful for? This year I am grateful for:

·?????My choice to get healthier and lose weight (and my partnership with Shaklee and their nutritional products)

·?????My dog and the stress relief he provides me and my daughter

This year I am thankful for:

·?????My family

·?????Making new friends and renewing old friendships

·?????My car, no matter how much I damage the exterior with dents and scratches?

So, this year at Thanksgiving give thanks for all that you are grateful and/or thankful for.?
