That Time of the Year

It’s that time of the year when you should start considering what your e-commerce store will do for the holiday season.
You don't need to sit down and work day and night, but you should brainstorm some ideas and get your plans ready in the next two weeks.
Usually it's best to do something similar to what worked last year but given how crazy 2020 has been, you might need to revise some of last year’s plans. Some still might work but be ready with a few backup plans if the first don't succeed.
Getting at least a rough plan now will give you time to at least know which ducks you need to get lined up.
To help jumpstart your brainstorming, here are some major dates for Q4 2020:
October
- 5th Labour Day (ACT, NSW, SA)
- 31st Halloween
November
- 3rd Melbourne Cup
- 27th Black Friday
- 30th Cyber Monday
December
- 19th Super Saturday
- 24th Christmas Eve
- 25th Christmas Day
- 26th Boxing Day
- 31st New Year’s Eve
And I know it’s quite late for that, but don’t forget the Father’s Day on 6th of September and the National Grandparents Day on 13th of September!
