"Time Waits for No One" - Rose Flo

"Time Waits for No One" - Rose Flo

???????

????????????????????????????? Rose Flo.? You wouldn’t know her.? She was not a PR/Communications professional.? Business Leader. Or even Pundit.

????????????????????????????? Rose Flo was my grandmother.? A beautiful woman inside and outside.? She possessed a can-do attitude about life.? She always dressed to the nines and handled herself with grace and dignity.? She was a strong Catholic and a firm believer in family and values.? She taught me many things but none more profound than “Time waits for no one!”

????????????????????????????? Her point was that each day provides a window of learning, impact, empathy, support, accomplishment, and happiness.? Don’t ever let a day go by without taking full advantage of the beauty it provides.? I’ve always thought about these words and have looked to apply them to my personal and business life. ????

????????????????????????????? In business, it comes down to:

????????????????????????????? Meeting less, deciding more

????????????????????????????? Making new connections

Learning something different (visiting your company’s manufacturing facility, retail ??operations, understanding product planning, becoming familiar with financial modeling)

???????????????????????????? Looking for a better position

???????????????????????????? Solving a problem outside your remit

???? ????????????????????????Redoing a piece of work to make it better

??????????????????????????? ?Make a point of reaching out to someone in need

???????????????????????????? Initiate a new idea or concept

???????????????????????????? Spend a day outside the office

???????????????????????????? Seek an audience with higher-up to promote your perspective

???????????????????????????? Hone your Point-of-View (POV)

???????????????????????????? Explore the world in new ways

?

????????????????????????????? And countless more for sure.?? Life is not a guarantee.? Making every day count in life and business improves our existence in beneficial ways.? Time is precious. ??

?I’m blessed to have had Gramma Flo in my life. ?

Dude, so sorry for your loss. She looks like she was a pistol. Think of you often and hope you are well. Oh, what I’d give for a combo plate at the Mexican Village and a table for three for you, Tony and me. Take care.

She sounds like an amazing woman. Thank you for sharing some of her with us.
