TIME FOR AN UPDATE AND CHECK IN!

We're sliding into the Holiday Spirit here at "The Art of Active Networking" and The Box SF and it's time for our annual Holiday Cookie Party and Warm Coat Drive for those in need! Sadly we cannot do our Cookie Party but we can still help others, and so many more are in need this year due to the Pandemic.

In the spirit of #MYGIVE4 I am going to ask you to do more. Buy 2 warm coats and 4 pair of socks and drop them off at a shelter. Pick a local Family and buy them what they need for their Children. Be especially proactive in your giving during what may be the worst year many of us have ever experienced since been alive.

Sometime in the future I have decided to restart my events. I miss you all, I miss the Active Giving we practiced as a Community this last 17 years!

I want to tell you with deep and open sincerity how deeply I feel for all of you. Many are fine, some are struggling more than ever, many of lost their jobs and the worst of all this is that some of our Members and Friends have passed away and we did not even know it. Some have lost relatives and livelihoods. All of this is just so heartbreaking

An update for me for those who have been asking, as I have been unusually quiet I know. I am undergoing severe, survival changes right now. My main business The Box SF Event Space collapsed March 16th and will not reopen. My 1850's General Store has reopened and is limping along with mostly online sales and about 6-10 customers a week. I have put this spectacular building up for sale and we'll see. I am grateful to still have 2 of my staff members and our health! Once the building is sold, I plan to finish my book, keep the store going online and continue with my Graphic Design and Branding work, which is what is maintaining me right now. My Film and Music businesses are on permanent hold!

FINALLY, and as always...please, how can I help you do better right now? Reach out, stay connected, don't suffer in silence! For 17 years now I have said, "The power of us working together is greater than anything we could accomplish on our own!" That is certainly true now more than ever!
