Time,Talent & Treasure ... Shared

I recently joined a local Non-Profit organization located in Oyster Bay, People Loving People Inc., on a mission trip to Honduras, my first foray into the world of mission "service". The trip really brought home the idea that those of us who have education, skills and resources, have a life changing opportunity to serve those who do not, and make a significant difference in the world.

It also placed a spotlight on the incredible work that smaller, local non-profits do, without much fanfare and often with limited resources.
