Time Travel - The Foundation of the Beginning of the Beginning

THE BASIC PICTURE OF TIME

Time Travel is a fascinating phenomenon, allowing an individual to embark on a journey in the continuous flow of reality - Time. However, it comes with its constraints due to the limited comprehension of the Human Mind about the picture of Time.

Time Travel does not provide the freedom of moving all across in Time, in other words -

"Humans are the slaves of Time, trapped in a constant flow, moving towards the future, yet completely free to move in space."

- Time snatches more than what it offers.

HOW WE ARE MOVING IN TIME?

Humans are constantly travelling into the unknown - the future, at a rate of 1 second per second, or in other words, the distance that humans are covering in time is precisely equal to the time they take to cover it.

A clock showing 5 o'clock, after one hour, will show 6 o'clock, making the humanity travel 1 hour into the future, taking 1 hour of time. - this is the basic time travelling that humans have been doing since they learned about time, however, this may not fascinate people, the only time travel that involves travelling a huge distance in time, within almost 'no-time' will be enough to quench the thirst of human beings. - the extreme time travel.

TIME TRAVELLING TO THE FUTURE

Albert Einstein came up with his papers describing a special case of a moving body allowing the 'real' effect of time to play-in.

One of his theories - SPECIAL THEORY OF RELATIVITY, states that :

"The faster you move in space, the slower you would move in time."

The faster an object moves or more precisely, the closer an object travels to the speed of light (299792458 m/s), the slower time passes for 'that' object, with respect to every other stationary object. Travelling at a greater speed makes the time of the moving-object 'lag' behind as compared with the other objects. But why?

WHY TRAVELLING CLOSE TO THE SPEED OF LIGHT MAKE US TRAVEL TO THE FUTURE?

Let us define the concept of "Now" (Nothing is actually now, as the moment you refer to a moment as 'now' it has already gone and become a part of the past, yet we'll use it for understanding):

The concept of 'Now' can be defined as the piece of time taken for a cause-and-effect to be witnessed by the human (including the interpretation by the brain).

A WELL UN-KNOWN FACT-:

The 'c' used in many formulas depicting the speed of light, actually refers to the Speed of Causality (Cause-effect), and since photons are the only particles (so far) that carries the potential to be the fastest and make their way to an event, this specific property of photons makes them an ideal "first" candidate for a medium (after sounds, sensation etc), allowing humans to witness the cause-and-effect of an event, in almost real-time.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENS WHEN TRAVELLING CLOSER TO THE SPEED OF LIGHT (SPEED OF CAUSALITY)? :

As an object approaches the speed of light or the speed of causality, it surpasses every other object in witnessing the cause-and-effect of an event and becomes the first candidate to witness the event (by being closer to the cause or speed of light), in other words, since at an instant, the object travelling would happen to be closer to the coming-light (from an event) with respect to other stationary objects, would make the object perceive the event before any other object or in other words the object would be in the future.

- But, how? If the object happens to be in the future, that means the future is already there some-where and some-when.

Indeed the future is always present, the only difference is that it takes light to reach to an individual. At a very small-scale the event that happens 'now' makes no difference, however, as one zoom-out into the universe, the definition of 'now' makes no sense.

What happens 'now' in the Universe, has already happened in the past and what might happen in the Universe (in the future) will never make its way to Humanity.

WHAT ABOUT TRAVELLING AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT OR LEAPING THE SPEED OF LIGHT? - Story for some time ahead.

The ground-breaking discovery (at that time), of contemplating the co-relation between Space AND Time or Space-Time, and how they go around each other, as put forward by Albert Einstein.

CONCEPT OF SPACE-TIME AND HIGHER DIMENSIONS

WHEN 'AND' WHERE?:

To witness an event, one must possess a piece of complete information about its spatial coordinates AND temporal coordinates, the absence of any of these will lead to a failure in encountering that event; One might be at the correct location but not at the correct time or one might be at the correct time but not at the correct location, thus leading to the failure to witness the event.

One should always present and describe complete information about the spatial-coordinates as well as the temporal-coordinates while addressing an event.

ROLE OF DIMENSIONS:

The 'current' world is encompassed in (3+1) dimensions; 3 spatial dimensions and 1 time; Humans currently exist in a 4 dimensional (4D) world, however, while being imprisoned in the 4th dimension (time) - Humans have the freedom to move in the 3 spatial dimensions: Upwards-downwards, Forward-backwards, Right-left, however, the movement in the time-dimension is limited; Humans are only allowed to move to the future, without having any access to the past.

This can be put forward in a 'non-convention' way as follows:

If an individual exists in the (n+1)th dimension, he/she would have complete access to the n-th dimension, however the access to the (n+1)th would be limited. To gain access to the (n+1)th dimension, an individual simply has to reach a higher dimension - to the (n+1)th dimension.

Humans currently have complete access to the 3-spatial dimensions, but access to the 4th dimension - time, is pretty limited - this movement of humans moving constantly to the future can be mapped to a person in a state of free-falling from a higher-ground with no end-point.

To gain a complete access to the 4th dimension, one has to leap into the 5th dimension - A 5-dimensional world. In other words, an individual (or something) existing in the 5th dimension, would possess complete access to the 4th dimension, while still having limited access to the 'yet-to-be' contemplated 5th dimension.

HOW THE 5-DIMENSIONAL WORLD WOULD EMERGE OUT?

- that's a story for some other time in the future (your-future-self has already witnessed the future, but who is your-future self? Is it you-you or future-you? The only way to find out is to live along with time and witness the un-folded reality)

TAKE AWAY AND FUTURE-UNDERSTANDING

Time is defined as the flow of reality, allowing the observers (humans) to witness the causality of the Universe in a linear-interpreted manner, unfolding the 'already' laid out picture of the cosmos into the canvas of Human understanding.

Leaping into the higher dimensions provides complete access to the lower dimensions and drawing-out a profound picture of those lower-dimensions. In the 5th dimension (yet-to-be contemplated), the complete time of the cosmos would be laid out in front, providing access to each and every possible moment of the cosmos from the Big Bang to the Big Rip.

QUESTIONS TO PROVIDE EARS TO THE ECHOES OF THE COSMOS -:

1. Is there really a Free-will?
2. Is the Universe 13.8 billion years old?
3. Is there an End to the Universe?
4. Is there a beginning of the beginning? End of the End?
