Time is ticking

well folks the voting is well under way. I cast mine today and favoured the two people I know can give voice to issues that affect our society and our globe. Too often people entitled to vote decide not to. That is a valid choice but not a realistic one if you are concerned about the present and the future. The Seanad may appear toothless but individual senators can cause the waves that change society.  This year we celebrate 1916 and remember...the greatest lesson taught to us by the poets, the dreamers, the actors , the writers, the believers who took a stand then... the pen and the word can be mightier than the sword. if you have yet to vote ...if you have a vote...then vote and encourage others to do so also...promote this message and urge those privileged to have a vote to exercise it.
