Time to talk about the big leagues and grabbing those ￡10k months by the balls!

Let's start by being honest, you are in business to make money. Yes, there may be other reasons, in fact, money may not be your primary reason but it is A reason and a big one at that. Let’s stop with the codswallop - money makes life easier.

You've hit your ￡5k months, and you might even be getting the occasional ￡7k but that illusive ￡10k is still dangling like a juicy schlong of a carrot that you can't quite reach. And who doesn't want to take a big bite of a ￡10k carrot?!

So, how do you do it?

You have to level up. What got you from ￡0-￡1k wasn't the same thing that got you from ￡1k-￡5k and what gets you from ￡5k-￡10k is different again. If you want to play with the big hitters, you need to be a big hitter.

Personal branding is EVERYTHING in today's digital world. Yes, you still need the talent to deliver on your promises but your brand is what catches people's interest, gets them into your DM's and ultimately converts them into paying clients.

Your brand needs to stand out. The Canva banners, selfies and home-done copy were great for your first steps into business, but you're going to need a shinier, more professional and eye-catching brand to capture the attention of bigger clients that can pay you bigger bucks.

Take a look at your LinkedIn as it is today. Is that banner screaming 'I'm a pro!'? What about your copy, is it compelling and written in a way that will entice your target audience? And (you knew this was coming!) What about your brand photos, are you still relying on selfies? The odd one is fine, but overall it's time to sharpen things up and show that you mean business.

You attract what you are, so take the steps to embody the person you want to become and watch those high-paying clients come flying in.
