Time to support some good causes
Somehow I managed to organise to do two charity events in one week...... Sunday 16th September starts with a 100 mile cycle ride with Friday the 22nd September finishing with a swim in Victoria Dock. If I didn't have a niggle with my foot, I would have thrown a run in the middle as well just to finish the three disciplines. So to give you a choice or to support both I am very proud to support both fund raising events. Anything, how ever small, will be hugely appreciated. I will share photos and update post both. Thank you in advance for your support.

7 年So cycle ride complete. 169km in 6.21 hours, 1009m of ascent, 3 punctures and around 4 hours of wind and rain.... So tomorrow is the big day this week. Looks like I will be doing 2 swims as one of our team has had to drop out. I was also given advice today that I needed to drink a can of coke before and after I swim......apparently it is good at cleaning out the things that live in the water in London. Not like swimming in the crystal lakes in Lincolnshire :-) does make you wonder what coke is made out of. So thank you to all of you have already donated, please dig deep into your pockets for a good cause. I will provide photos post event of me glowing gently in the dark :-)

7 年Thank you to all of you who have liked my charity raising efforts. Now it's time to pull out the wallet/purse/plastic/smartphone..... and show your support for these good causes where it really matters, in their bank account. Just think you'll be tucked up in bed on Saturday morning, in a nice warm bed and I'll be out starting out on a 162km ride. I'll even let you have an extra 30 min in bed if you support the good causes ??
