Time to stop pointing fingers

People are quick to make excuses in life and to point fingers at others. You’ll see this every single day in your entire life. You’ll see people in powerful positions blaming others for their shortcomings, or picking holes in their business failings. People will make every excuse under the sun to not doing something too.

This lack of taking responsibility for every single situation in your life, is a weakness which holds so many people back. When you take full responsibility for everything, both good and bad, then things become a lot easier and you have no where to hide.

People talk about not having enough time in their lives because they are too busy but is that really the case? Are you waking up at 7am each morning and watching Netflix until 1am? If people woke up just 30mins earlier, each morning, for a full year, then that would give them an extra 182 solid hours of time to work on something they felt passionate about, or to go for a run to lose weight, etc. Imagine that 182 hours over 10 years. That is 50 full, 24 hours days, which you get back, and people say they lack time...

When you start taking control and stop making excuses, you grow in every single other area of your life. People are not aware that everything in life is connected, which is such a crucial thing to remember.

When you stop making excuses, you invariably stop being jealous of other people too. You also stop being judgemental and realise that you need to sort out your own backyard before you start providing commentary on theirs.

Have you mowed your lawn, trimmed your hedges, removed your weeds and watered your own garden, before even peaking over the fence at the neighbours? Do that first and apply it to every part of your life and every relationship you have.
