Time to say goodbye

Railroad Operation and Outage Coordinator Contract CBX001-Penn Station Access Project
To all my friends and colleagues
After 30 years of dedicated service to New York City Transit the time has come to say goodbye. I was hired as a trackworker with a High School Diploma and a few college credits on September 30th 1985. I was married, had one child and we lived in a two bedroom railroad flat in Ridgewood Queens. I leave in July 2016 married to the same women of 34 years with three adult children and one grandchild. I own and live in a private home in Nassau County, achieved the rank of General Superintendent Grade A and earned a Master’s Degree in Transportation Management from Poly NYU. I could never have done all this without the support of MTA NYCT and for that I am forever in their debt.
Thank you to the Department of Subways for your trust, education and experience that has made me who I am today and most importantly thank you to all my friends and colleagues who made the past 30 years the most enjoyable and memorable years of my life.
Be safe, be well and stay in touch
