It is time to say goodby

Dear customers, suppliers, partners, colleagues and friends,

I would like to inform you that after 38 years I am leaving the world of paints and coatings.

I will be retiring on July 1, 2024, and move to France.

A fulfilling time is coming to an end in which I was able to participate in many developments, which have changed the coatings technologies and processes in the Automotive Coatings Industry.

In #Hemmelrath Technologies we have pushed forward the recipe modularization for many paint technologies, to produce them sustainably in using the most modern, ecological and economical manufacturing technology, the #MoFa Technology, the basis for the future use of AI in coatings manufacturing.

I have worked with many intelligent and innovative people and have been able to learn a lot from them and believe that I have also passed on a lot of my knowledge to younger colleagues and employees, to give them the same development opportunities that I have received myself.

Big thanks to my team from the Hemmelrath Technologies, great people with a lot of know-how in coatings formulations and process technology.

Special thanks go to the Hemmelrath family, who made it possible for me to implement my ideas as Managing Director of the Hemmelrath Coatings Company and most recently of the

#Hemmelrath-Technologies.They showed me how important family-owned medium-sized businesses are for Germany, with their short decision-making processes and openness to innovation.?

But my thanks also go to my children and my wife, who often had to be without me and who supported me in all difficult situations and times.?

Thanks to the colleagues of the #Smart Paint Factory Alliance, a team of creative people who will drive the coatings industry in the digital century. I will continue to be part of this team.

I am handing over the lead of #Hemmelrath Technologies to my successor #Tobias Schabel . Support him as you have supported me.
