The time is ripe for action, and to act, we need to be radically open-minded. This includes that we can be wrong, and if so, we need to encourage others to tell us so. But we can also be right, and if so, our role is to lead and lead boldly.

The format of the review has been slightly changed. From this week, we will focus on more significant issues and help you, members of this community, ask more questions and interact more. We are building a strong, supportive network, and your wellbeing, satisfaction, and participation are of the highest importance to me.

Globalization and urbanization impact the frequency and severity of floods, cyclones, infectious disease outbreaks, and cyber-attacks that cost biodiversity and global industries enormous resources.

For the past twenty years, one of the many layers of the sustainable finance challenge is that market volatility has fallen short in most occurrences. And in the face of uncertainty, one manifestation of risk aversion is the public's readiness to overpay for insurance and other financial protection solutions against unforeseeable disasters.

Climate change, socioeconomic developments, and increased reliance on digital technologies pose risks with destructive potential that have hampered their contributions to specific catastrophe threats.?

On a global scale, these financial tools give the illusion of managing supposed processes they've developed over the years, hinging around natural order to demonstrate that they significantly reduce vulnerability and promote economic recovery in the economic realm.?But in reality, international banks are upping stakes and leaving private companies to deal with vulnerable circumstances.

2.2—Data of the world, Data of the world,?CO2: 3,064?days until we reach the 450ppm threshold

  • CO2 levels as of?March 5, 2022 = 419.17 ppm. A year ago:?418.21 ppm. Twenty-six years ago: 360 ppm.
  • CO2?emissions by region: in the second half of the 20th century we see a significant rise in emissions, particularly across Asia, and most notably, China: 10.49 billion tonnes (Worldwide: 35 billion tonnes. This is more than 40% higher than emissions in 1990)**[More info here].
