The Time Is Right - What Will You Do?

I believe that people know right from wrong. I believe that people doing the right thing is our greatest chance for change. I believe in justice and caring. I believe in science. I believe in the power of corporations to help ignite social change. 

Brands who truly care can make a difference. Giving lip service to the issue-of-the-moment will not suffice. Your customers are watching. Companies can redirect some of their capital into Black communities. They can commit to sourcing products and services from Black communities and do it. They can look inward at their executive ranks and boards and ensure that the voices at the top are not just echoes of their own. This is not altruism, the statistics bear out that this is smart business. 

Now that the world has awoken, now that a rainbow of voices is finally being heard, now that you understand, what will you do as a brand? Companies - you have the power, you have the budget, you have the moment, so choose wisely. What you do now will matter greatly.

So, be the catalyst. Motivate and inspire. Speak up. Put your money where your values lie. You know what’s right. You know what’s true. Act on it now. The time is right.
